Chef Reeves has been in the Food Industry for almost 30 years, working every type of restaurant, from fast-food to Formal, in Ma and Pa Restaurants to Hotels. He has performed every job in the Kitchen and is never afraid to lead a new person by example on how to complete a task. He spent four years training and working with Exec. Chef Mark Prece in Pella, IA at “Strawtown Inn” and later followed Chef Prece to Kansas City to work at “Benjamin Hotel and Ranch”. From there he worked around Kansas City and then California before returning to the Midwest, and eventually winding up at the Lake for the last 16 years. Chef Charles or “Chef Chazz” as he is known by many has been at Porto Cima for just over Three years now and enjoys putting out beautiful, quality, fresh food for the Members. He loves creating new specials and soups for everyone to enjoy.
