Paul is originally from Kansas City, where at a early age enjoyed caddying for many well know Kansas Citians, at Oakwood Country Club. He quickly found his niche on the grounds crew in 1981. After graduating from Central Missouri State, in Warrensburg, MO, he began his career in golf course construction, development and maintenance as General Superintendent at MariMack Golf Complex in Kearney, Missouri. He soon moved on to accept the position of Golf Course Superintendent at Terradyne Country Club in Andover, Kansas. In June of 1999, Paul was hired as the Grow-in Superintendent for The Club at Porto Cima. Since that time, Paul has maintained Class A status with the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America (GCSAA) for over twenty nine years. In his current role, he has successfully maintained championship course conditions, which has earned him top recognition from Golf Digest, Golf Week and USGA officials.
